Sorek Desalination Plant

Desalination Plant of 170 million square m per year. Total power consumption 80MW plus 20MW for a pumping station. The plant is supplied from a 161/11.5KV substation and a power plant of 2*48MW GTG and 1*40MW STG. The electrical system includes high rating 6MW/11.5KV motors and about 30MW motors in total derived by VFDs
